Basic Layout Principles for a Clutter-Free Resume

The first thing that is most likely to grab the attention of the hiring manager when he/she looks at any resume is the layout. Check if your resume is well-structured or looks shabby. Is it dull and dry or does it instantly catch the attention of the reader? Here are some conventional layout principles you should follow to make your resume stand out from the crowd.

1.Stick to a one-two page resume (maximum 3 pages for a CV)

2.Make sure that your section headings are crisp and clear

3.Include plenty of white space around the margins

4.Use a legible and readable font with a font size of 10-12
