Set a timer (Pomodoro) for 25 minutes. Make sure that you focus on the task at hand for these 25 minutes.
You may remove other distractions such as WhatsApp messages, Facebook notifications, etc., keeping your phone on silent mode for these 25 minutes.
In the middle of the task, if you remember an errand that you’ve got to finish, note it down on a piece of paper.
Once these 25 minutes are over, you can reward yourself (by taking a coffee break or a shortwalk) for getting a significant amount of work done in such a short time.
